Hey, I'm Gui
I am a motion graphics designer, video editor and illustrator. Since childhood, I follow narratives from the most diverse media: comic books, short films, cartoons, and movies. I am fascinated by the art of storytelling through movement.
I graduated in 2006 with a BA in Media Studies at ESPM-SP, in Brazil, and I've focused my studies in audio-visual. I am a Premiere expert and a passionate MoGraph animator. I followed specialized courses in After Effects, Z-Brush, Maya and I attended the Animation Bootcamp at School of Motion. I also use Final Cut Pro and Audition.
I've worked as a video editor for 9 years at Avesso TV (São Paulo, Brazil) and as a senior video editor for 2 years at Nocaute Journalistic Blog (São Paulo, Brazil). I have varied experience, working on projects ranging from video advertisements and film-making to corporate video editing and animations, journalistic content, academic scientific abstract videos, logo animations, and game animations.
I am currently based in Amsterdam, working on parallel projects as a freelancer.
